

Nicholas had a blast searching for the toys but I love this bin for so many more reasons that just the entertainment it provides. We covered everything with rice so that it was all hidden and I was given approximately 2.5 seconds to snap a picture before he dove in. To start, we gathered a few, bigger items that we could hide and then search for in our bin and took a picture of them all together. Not only was Nicholas happy that he could finally get his hands on everything in the bottle but taking those items out added a whole new sensory level to his play. So, we decided to expand that activity just a bit!

He would hide the items and then get all excited when he found them again but, spent a good portion of his time trying to figure out how to get into the bottle and find the stuff inside. Well, in the days following that post, we decided to give it a try and it pretty much became an instant hit in our house! You can print this printable pdf as many times as you’d like for your personal or classroom use. It still looks great and is a good way to print in color but use less ink.
